Japan is one of the East Asian country that is famous for economic, natural beauty and unique culture. Where to serve traffic from and to the country, they have several International Airports, among other Tokyo International Airport/Haneda Airport (HND), Narita International Airport (NRT) and Kansai International Airport (KIX).

For the citizens of Canada who want to visit the country, the travel document required is not too complicated, because the two countries have good bilateral relationship. The following are the documents needed.

Normal passport: Canada (CA)
Destination: Japan (JP)

Passport and other documents accepted for entry of Canadian citizens must be valid on arrival at Japan.

Visa required, except for Nationals of Canada for a maximum stay of 90 days.

- Child/minors not holding own passport, included in their parent/legal guardian's passport are accepted if traveling together with the parent/guardian.
- Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination.
- Valid visas in expired passports can be used provided passenger carries a valid passport, which mus be officially bound with the expired one.

Visitors including Nationals of Canada who not holding return/onward ticket from Japan, could be refused to entry.
